Hi, we are Abhineet and Dr. Ritika — a brother-sister co-founder duo. We grew up in our family hospital. Abhineet previously built a pharmaceutical company and Ritika is a doctor who decided to build a patient-centric healthcare system. Our team and advisors comprise entrepreneurial leaders from On Deck, Fortis Healthcare, NIMHANS, Amazon, American Airlines, Apple, IIIT H, Georgetown University

Together, we are building modern healthcare for India — healthcare that is patient-centric, healthcare that comes without stigma and judgements, healthcare with a heart and soul 🧡

Since inception in Dec 2021, we’ve helped ~60000 patients and facilitated ~200,000 tele-consults pan India.

Role

👩🏻‍💻 Counselling Psychologist (Full-time / Part-time) 🌏 Location: Fully remote 🎓 Qualification: Master’s in Psychology (M.Sc / M.A Psychology or equivalent) ⏰ Time: Flexible, at your convenience

🔦 About the role

We're looking for passionate Counselling Psychologists- freshers and experienced professionals alike- to join the Rocket Health team and help us deliver high-quality, accessible mental health care to patients across India.

Your primary role will be conducting 1:1 counselling sessions, with opportunities to support group sessions, psychoeducation webinars, and wellness workshops, all fully remote, all on your schedule.

✨ This role may be a fit for you if:

• You are passionate about increasing access to quality mental health care
• You provide outcome-focused, client-centred counselling (CBT, person-centred, solution-focused, mindfulness-based — or a mix!)
• You have an innate ability to build warm, trusting therapeutic relationships remotely
• You are comfortable working in a telemedicine environment
• You are adaptable and enjoy growing within a dynamic, mission-driven startup

📋 You're perfect if:

• You hold a Masters in Psychology — M.Sc Psychology, M.A Psychology, M.Sc Counselling, or equivalent
• You are eligible to practise counselling independently in India
• You are empathetic, an intuitive listener, and deeply invested in your clients' wellbeing
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• You are open to collaborating with psychiatrists or clinical psychologists managing your clients' care
• You are entrepreneurial — freshers with the right mindset are very welcome!
